the Project

The NCRVTR's goal is to create a World-class tourist destination by reconstructing 17+ miles of track between Gold Hill and Carson City, restoring the V&T Railway to its full original run.

Through the 3 phases of the project, the Virginia & Truckee will become one of the Top 10 Short Run Railroads in the United States.
